Revlon Sun Candy - Sun Burst

I recently did a manicure with Revlon Sun Candy in Sun Burst, it is a bright marigold yellow cream, with a subtle glitter top coat. Pigmentation and formulation was good, very minor streaking with 2 very thin coats but only if you're really looking for it. The glitter half was more subtle than I was expecting, it has shades of gold, pink, and teal glitters in a variety of sizes. A fun Summer look but nothing too jam packed with glitter. If you're looking for a good bright marigold polish this one is nice.

I have become a Buxom Lip Loyalist this past year. Not only are they pretty, plumping, moisturizing, and minty fresh, but they also contain very good anti-aging ingredients as well! It's the whole package! Find your color (they are many more not listed here, lavender cosmo is next on my list) and reap some serious lip benefits for yourself! (Pink Lady is my personal favorite that I've tried so far, it adds life to my face! Mudslide is my pick for a natural/nude that doesn't wash me out.)

Ciate Apple & Custard : My St. Patrick's Day Green

Wearing Ciate Apple & Custard as my St. Patrick's Day green nail this year! It is a beautiful pistachio green cream. This is with two coats. Very shiny finish and very happy with the polishes performance overall!

What's in My Makeup bag?

The older I've gotten the less makeup products I find myself carrying around with me in my bag. However there are a few things I still enjoy having on hand. Sunscreen for being in more direct sunlight than origianlly planning on that day. Some brightening and enhancing reliable lip products. Hand cream that absorbs quickly because it's never more of a pain to have greasy hands than while out in public! A couple different types of scents doesn't hurt either in case I'm just not in the mood for one of them.

theBalm Root Beer Gloat Nail Polish

The Balm Hot Ticket Root Beer Gloat is a beautiful, not streaky type, of warm brown shimmer with some amber accents that when mixed in give it a glow. I usually prefer this polish with 3 coats. Click on the images for a closer look of this beautiful root beer glow!

Nordstrom Winter Crystal Nail Color

Trying out a new polish for me today, Nordstrom Winter Crysyal. I am very impressed! It is a pale shimmering blue (which I got since chanel skyline is no longer available) and although it is not the shame shade I am very happy with my purchase! It has great pigmentation, minor streaking for a shimmer, good short drying time and is just beautiful! Take a look! (click on images to see larger)
