Colourpop Blush Crush vs Physicians Formula Rose all Play Palettes

As a big fan of Physicians Formula Rose all Play palette that launched late 2019, and a fan of pinky shadows for all of 2019, I thought Colorpops blush crush would be perfect for me. Was I wrong! Not only was colourpops formula drier and more difficult to blend, the glittery shades were nothing but a chunky fall out mess. The Bottom middle brownish pink looking shade looks like a bubblegum pink in my crease and is in no way subtle. What I thought would be a matte white is a light pink, that’s too pink for a brow bone highlight shade. The pink gold duochrome and light pink shimmer were the only 2 useable shades for me and even they were much drier and flatter looking than I am used to from a Too Faced Shimmer.

The physicians formula rose palette however, has creamy easy to blend mattes, and none of the mid tone crease shades look unnatural. They have enough neutrality to not look neon or jarring. The shimmers do all have very fine glitter in them but they are beautiful and multidimensional. The palette has a beautiful soft rose scent I would wear as a perfume. This is still one of my favorite palettes I own.

I’m passing this colourpop palette along since I never find myself using it, and would recommend physicians formula rose all play instead.

For reference I use Milani eyeshadow primer under all of my eyeshadows.
