Do to a variety of colors the new Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in Sphynx by CoverGirl looks like online, I wondered how similar it would be to MAC HoneyLove. Honeylove is definitely warmer and paler, while Sphynx is darker, and much more mauvey. I can't pull off Honeylove straight, but it looks good on top of a thick balm like Bit Agave Lip Mask(in smashed). Covergirl's formula I can wear on it's own but I still prefer a balm as I'm not a matte lip fan, and have dry lips to begin with.
